Earth Trail 2
As noted in an earlier post, the Earth Trail was unique as it was a network of elevated walkways above the forest. This allowed us to have a nice view of the forest and also afforded the animals and birds relative peace from human intrusion. Moreover, we saw quite a few joggers along the way so Singaporeans have a very attractive way to exercise. However, we were all drenched with sweat due to the 80% + humidity simply strolling along the trail. I cannot imagine how wet a jogger would be after a short while. Despite its urban nature, Singapore has been able to preserve some of its natural wonders. I think the Earth Trail is a superb example of this. The last photo is of rather green banana bunches.

The elevated walkway sounds like a good ecologically sound idea for keeping our footprint small and keeping the area relatively pristine.
