National University of Singapore

Daisy, Patrick, Kacy, and Teri in Daisy's office at NUS
On Tuesday, we went to the National University of Singapore (NUS) where Patrick spent almost 6 months of his life diligently studying.  :-)   While there, Daisy was  the NUS coordinator for the UC student contingent.  From all accounts, she was able to keep all 45 or so UC students hale and hearty.  She must possess the patience of a saint as I find it hard enough to keep track of one college age student at a time, much less 45 of them.  Considering that several of the UC students were homesick, Daisy's feat was even more impressive.

We had lunch with Daisy at one of Pat's favorite eateries on campus.  After lunch, Patrick took us on a tour of the campus to show us all of the places he studied hard at.  :-)

BTW, the bag that Patrick is holding in some of the photos are some of the NUS shirts we purchased.

  1. Crazy a UC ONLY coordinator? How decadent!

  2. Haha, decadent perhaps but once the UC EAP kids arrive in late July, it is more than a full time job. Besides, it is probably hard to find someone who can put up with 45 UC kids. :-)
