Stroll Along the Esplanade by the Singapore River

For dinner, we ended up at Makansutra Gluttony Bay for a somewhat touristy hawker center.  The vendor we were hoping to eat at had evidently departed so we foraged for whatever piqued our interest.  After our dinner there, we strolled along the Esplanade.  Even though it was past 9 PM, the temperature was still in the mid 80s with humidity to match.  BTW, the new Circle Line Esplanade stop is not really near the Esplanade as we still had about a 15 minute walk to get there.

Alas, I neglected to bring my camera so I will wait for Kacy to upload her photos.  In the meantime, I have downloaded photos from the Internet until I can replace them with Kacy's.

The Marina Bay Sands Resort and Casino has a park, restaurants, and a swimming pool on the very top level that spans all 3 towers.

  1. Are you guys going to go to that chicken rice guy that Pat always talks about? That Marina Bay Sands looks awesome! I also maintain that the Merlion is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen.
